Many years ago, I read in a Sunday School manual or Institute of Religion manual, that one of the reasons that Joseph Smith suffered so many tests and trials at God’s hand was because God needed to accelerate Joseph’s learning. Are you aware of this comment? I have tried to find the original source. Maybe you can help me. Thanks. I learn a lot about the Lord, and insights that help me, by listening to Talking Scripture.
