Love your podcast!!!
“Loved” your “love is a choice” teaching. Thanks for sharing. May I add a verse to add to your consideration about committed love, Section 82:19, “Every man seeking the interest of his neighbor and doing all things with an eye single to the glory of God.” To me this is the simplest definition of love in the English language.
May the Lord’s most tender mercies and lovingkindnesses be with you now (during this sacred Christmas season and throughout the coming year.
Hi,
Did all of your show notes get put up? I only see the 1 quote. I love your podcast, thank you!
Is there a specific reference for where you talk about that when we meet God we will be accountable to talk about first about our relationship with our spouse, and then about each individual relationship with each child that we have?
Are there more show notes for this podcast 133 than what’s available online now. it seemed to me that there were many more references during the podcast that were insightful and beautiful. If there is more, please post it in the show notes.
I have absolutely loved your podcasts this year. Each one has been a master class and deep dive into understanding church history and the related Scriptures. I have recommended it to all my family and friends. Thank you for your time, efforts, and testimonies. Looking forward to studying the old testament with you next year!
My wife and I have really enjoyed listening the past two years (Book of Mormon & D&C). By chance do you publish a written transcript of the podcast? Thanks for your hard work!
Sorry, we just do not have enough time to transcribe. But YouTube does offer rough transcripts on our channel Talking Scripture. If you click on the 3 dots below the right corner of each video, it says “open transcript.”
You can also download the audio for each episode to your device by going to our website talkingscripture.com to transcribe at your own pace.
I loved this discussion on the family proclamation. I am looking for the reference about Simon and the sinner woman. The story is in Luke 7, but it doesn’t have the “it” and “she” Bryce was talking about. Could you point me in the right direction?
Also, do you have the reference for the BOM quote for the worth of souls?
Thank you for the passion you teach with, especially this episode! My Family Proclamation has notes all over the margins and I hold it dear to my heart seeing it as scripture not just ‘a piece of paper’ anymore.
Can’t wait for the Old Testament!
Where can I find your highlighted proclamation? Loved your lesson, thanks for all you do.
It is in the shownotes. Thanks for listening!
Hello! Thank you for your podcasts! I learn so much! I have a quick question. When he was talking about respect and the worth of a soul, Bryce mentioned there was a verse in Moroni that say something to effect that even if Christ could have redeemed only one soul, His suffering and death would have still been worth it. Can you please provide that reference? Thank so much!
Hi, just following up. Could someone please point me in the direction of the reference in Moroni, (or anywhere else) where it says that Christ’s suffering and death would still have been worth it, even if He only redeemed one soul? I’m preparing a talk for Sunday and I would love to include that reference. Thanks so much!
I have come to rely on the insights I get from Mike and Bryce. Thanks for the depth of research and of thought that you share. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Love your podcasts! Very enlightening each week!
